Ask me what my greatest success in life is and Iām likely to point to the certificate hanging on the wall addressed to the āGreatest Dad in the Worldā given to me by my wife and two sons.Ā Ā
Along the way I did go through 3 distinct phases in my career starting off first as an educator. From āBig Ten Universityā instructor to private college department chairman, from working with high school students in inner city schools, developing sports programs on the reservation or enhancing adult community programs, I wanted to reach out and help bring out the best in people.Ā Ā
A major life decision brought our family back from Minnesota to the island of my birth. Reconnecting with old friends, I launched an entertainment company which was fortunate to produce shows in every major venue in the state earning trips back to the mainland to appear on television at the Mall of America.
Our award-winning shows have played for over one million guests and for Hollywood luminaries while in the islands many of whom are posted in our scrapbook.Ā Ā
9/11 was another life altering event which motivated me to come full circle and focus on education once more. Establishing 911 Seminars, an Emergency and Safety Training company, was the first step in my goal to improve, enhance and save lives through education.
