There are resources in great number to assist you with capacity building. Foundations, as well as government sources, understand the importance of this agenda because the stronger an organization is as an organization, any funds provided for programs will likely be well-spent.

Before taking on the task of capacity building, it is so important that you take ownership of your current situation and that you have a solid grasp on what kind of capacity building you need to engage. It is so easy to compile a wish list comprised of computers, phone systems, printer/copiers, vehicles, etc. It is more effective to begin with your vision, asking what you need to come closer to achieving that vision. Such an effort may well include all of the items mentioned and much more. Tying all of that to your vision will allow you to make a much more persuasive case for those items.
