REVIEWS:
In this unique model for bereavement support, Dr. Donna Scott has developed a sensitive, interactive approach for such care. This care is premised on a Christian perspective with appropriate Scriptures. She acknowledges that, where all grief needs to be heard, some other types, such as divorce and suicide, may require a different intervention. The eight prescribed sessions capture essential progressive steps. The intentional goal of these steps is to move participants from a position of the disconnect that grief brings, to a position of a vibrant relationship reconnecting them with a compassionate God.

I enjoyed reading this book. It is basically a how to do book; that being said, it is a guide or a book of instructions. I think that this book should be purchased together with the workbook.
Now this guide book could be applied to other stress related emotional weaknesses i.e. (anxiety); it is therefore a tool that small group leaders can use to build, grow and strengthen their membership.
